MV Alizay 2 berths at Port Melville

The MV Alizay 2 was berthed at Port Melville from 20 – 26 October 2018. It loaded approximately 35,000 tonnes of woodchips for export and was shipment #14. The vessels pictured alognside the MV Alizay 2 are global marine tugs Global Yorktown and La Trobe, bringing it in to berth.    

NT Port and Marine takes home the Defence Industry honours

Port Operations Support Officer Training Program

Melville Island expands woodchip export to China

The Uni Rich woodchip carrier docked at Port Melville on 15 January, marking the tenth shipment from the plantations on Melville Island. Departing six days later, it was the first shipment to the Chinese market, with Tiwi now exporting to both China and Japan.
